              Real Estate Options

The real estate scene in East Village is an interesting mix of historical homes and new developments. Condos and townhomes make up much of the housing stock, though there are some charming single family homes dating back to the early 1900s.

Among historical homes, frame cottages are the most prevalent architectural type. Queen Anne duplexes, brownstones and graystones can also be found in the area. Many of these have been converted into duplexes or multi-family homes.

Situated on the historic district’s peaceful, tree-canopied streets, these homes feature classic brick or stone exteriors and opulent interior details that include crown moldings, luxurious finishes and hardwood floors. Many have ample balconies or rooftop sundecks which offer great views of the city.

Walking through East Village you will also notice some stand-out new developments with contemporary exteriors. New constructions feature highly desirable modern amenities, such as high glass windows, open floor plans and the latest appliances.
