After graduating from Wellesley College Meredith lived in New York City working first as an NBC Page then began her sales career with Arbitron Ratings as an account executive and moved into the world of executive recruiting for Wall Street. She has been a resident of the Gold Coast neighborhood for more than 20 years with her children attending the Latin School of Chicago and Culver Academy. She is active in civic duties and currently serves on the board of several organizations including Juvenile Protective Association (JPA) a nationally recognized award-winning leader in providing direct services advocacy and research to help safeguard children and preserve families especially those in greatest need-- the disenfranchised economically disadvantaged and those who are already caught in the cycle of abuse and neglect. In addition Meredith is involved in a myriad of cultural activities - she is a long time subscriber to the Lyric Opera and Chicago Symphony, is an amateur cellist and is fluent in French.
